Was inspired by summer. :)  So I drew fanart that takes place outdoors.  I'll get around to coloring this once I figure out how to use the scanner properly. >_<  Note to self: What happened to the stripes on Ciel's clothes?

I'm trying to read here!  )

The dancing shoes in this vid are mesmerizing.  Makes me feel lively even though I'm studying for exams. :)  And the music is good too!

My favorite song from the band Sakanakushon. :p Thanks to Rumi for reccing me this band. ^^

Amadeus Mini Review + WIP art

Today I will write about a movie that I believe anyone should see before they die. (I say this with intense BURNING eyes.) I've been reccing it to people left and right since the day I finished watching it for Film and Design class so I guess some of you have heard about it from me. XD

This film really needs more love even though it's pretty old being four years older than I am!  It's definitely one of my favorite movies ever so I also had to make some art about it. :3

Here's an edited short intro that I copy pasted from the essay I had to write about the film:

Amadeus is a 1984 drama film directed by Milos Forman based on the fictional play of the same name by Peter Shaffer.  The film follows the rivalry between two composers in 18th century Vienna, namely, Antonio Salieri and the renowned Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  Although it is intentionally not meant to be a historically accurate film, Amadeus has become a celebrated award-winning movie (8 Academy Awards including Best Picture!!!).  Unlike most stories that develop towards a climax, the big confrontation between Mozart and Salieri had already ended with Mozart’s death that occured years before the film's beginning.  The film begins in a mental institution where an aging Salieri, tortured by guilt, confesses his role in the murder of Mozart to a priest.  From there the audience watches the plot unfold with old Salieri narrating his encounters with Mozart in the past.  Was Mozart really murdered?  And was Salieri really his killer?

Spoiler-free (rather long) mini review and WIP art under the cut:

Beware the image heavyness under the cut...

First post!

Finally got around to starting a new lj. (Hopefully it will be the last time I restart. XD) There's too much awesome stuff at lj for me to remain a lurker!! <3  I'm not yet sure what to put here, but maybe I'll post doodles most of the time and maybe random fan rambling too. :p
